Cassandra K. Jackson served as the City Attorney for the City of Tallahassee from 2018 to 2023, culminating a distinguished career in public service spanning more than three decades. Prior to her appointment, she was Deputy City Attorney and, most recently, served as a legal consultant to the City Attorney until her retirement in June 2024.
A graduate of Stetson University with both Bachelor and Juris Doctorate degrees earned with high honors, Mrs. Jackson is a member of The Florida Bar and admitted to practice before the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. Throughout her career, Mrs. Jackson was dedicated to serving the Tallahassee community with professionalism and integrity. When not engaged in service to the Tallahassee community, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 40+ years, Jesse, and their three adult children, as well as being an active member of her church, reading, and cooking.
