In some capacity or another, everyone is being affected by the current circumstances of COVID-19. There is no doubt that this has become a major disruption to our personal lives and to the day-to-day functions of our local community. Our nonprofit organizations provide a great number of services to people who rely on support from their organizations. The nonprofit′s response to COVID-19 is adding additional challenges to their organizations to meet an increase in demand for services.
The Community Foundation has a number of endowment funds established by nonprofit organizations for the purpose of providing long-term sustainability support for their organizations. At CFNF we are not only dedicated to assisting our donor fundholders with their charitable goals, we are also committed to supporting our nonprofit Agency fundholders efforts to grow their endowments. In circumstances like the one we are in now; we want to shine a light on our nonprofits to support their efforts to help our community journey through the crisis brought about by COVID-19.

Alzheimer′s Project, Inc. exists to provide comfort, support, and assistance to persons with memory disorders and their caregivers in the Big Bend area. Our goal is to enable caregivers to sustain a decent quality life as they care for their loved one, and to provide a comfortable, dignified existence for people living with dementia.
American Red Cross - Capital Area Chapter
The American Red Cross supports families following disasters by providing emergency shelter, hot meals and financial support.
Animal Shelter Foundation
Animal Shelter Foundation was created by volunteers to support the animals in the care of Tallahassee Animal Services, more commonly known as the Animal Shelter at Tom Brown Park. The Shelter is an open admission facility which means that every animal is accepted and no animal is turned away.

Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum was established to honor and preserve the heritage of the men and women who trained at the camp during WWII.
