Reid Hanway

Reid is the Managing Partner of the Purify Bay Group; his career path reflects a passion for driving growth across different facets of the business world. For a decade he invested over $4.5 billion in private equity investments spanning venture capital, growth equity, leveraged buyouts, and managed one of the nation’s largest and most tenured co-investment portfolios in the pension ecosystem. As an investor he sat on the Limited Partner Advisory Committee of some of the largest private equity firms in the US and Europe. After ten years investing in private equity, where he honed his skills in negotiations, investment evaluation, and portfolio construction, Reid transitioned to an operator role. This hands-on experience in the medical/dental field as a COO provided him with a deep understanding of the daily challenges and opportunities faced by businesses. Now, Reid leverages his combined expertise in investment and operations to focus on medical office space and co-investments, both sectors with strong demand, and compelling risk adjusted returns.
